Once again we have the privilege of sponsoring an amazing Drupal event. In just two weeks several members of the Aten Design Group team will be joining the Drupal crowd in Berkeley, California, for BADCamp 2012 sessions and summits! We are looking forward to reconnecting with Drupal friends and colleagues, sharing some of what we’ve been working on, and hearing what others have been up to as well. And... Aten is hiring! So if you're an awesome designer or developer looking to join a people-focused firm in one of the greatest cities in America: make sure to connect with us while we're in Berkeley!
I’m heading out for the Non-Profit Summit on Thursday and I’m excited to meet representatives in the non-profit arena there. Aten continues to work with numerous clients investing in good works around the world, and we would love to make new friends and connections in this field! I look forward to hearing about what’s being done locally and globally to create lasting impacts of goodness, and to talk with others about the recently released OpenAid distribution and how it might be applied on this front.
Art Director Ken Woodworth, Front-end Developer John Ferris, and Developer Rob Ballou—all of the Aten team—will be joining me in Berkeley. Don’t miss Ken’s session on Saturday: Designing and Implementing Beautiful, Flexible Interfaces; his slide deck alone is inspiring! Sunday’s schedule includes John Ferris’s session: Scaling with Stylesheets, Theming with Modular CSS, and Rob Ballou’s: Javascript, Testing and Drupal. What a lineup! We're excited to be sharing on so many fronts.
And in case you weren’t able to make it to Germany in August, or if you came by after our supply was out, we’ve saved some DrupalCon Munich 2012 Sketchbooks for BADCamp. Oh yeah! Make sure to come by our sponsor table, say hi, and get one.
See you all in Berkeley!
