Web Accessibility
Having an accessible website is an ethical obligation and often a legal one, too. Make your message available to the widest possible audience via your website, avoid legal issues, reach your organization’s search, advancement, and impression goals, and most importantly, do the right thing.
How can we help?
Our in-house accessibility expert, Michaela Blackham, will measure your website's current level of compliance against internationally recognized benchmarks. Depending on the needs of the project, Michaela may bring in assistive technology users from our partners at Blind Institute of Technology to further assist in website compliance.
Our systematic approach provides you with:
- A detailed assessment of your organization’s website(s)
- Identified improvements for achieving WCAG compliance
Our audits focus on creating a better experience for people with:
- Visual impairments
- Mobility impairments
- Auditory impairments
- Cognitive impairments
What benchmarks are we using to audit?
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are developed through the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) process in cooperation with individuals and organizations around the world, providing a single shared standard for web content accessibility that meets the needs of individuals, organizations, and governments internationally.
What parts of your site will we focus on?
- Automated Development Assessment
- Keyboard Navigation Assessment
- Screen Reader Navigation Assessment
- Web & HTML Content Assessment
