MidCamp — the Midwest Area DrupalCamp — is underway and Aten has joined the Drupal fun. The conference is being held at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). It kicked off yesterday with a day of training. The session schedule starts today, March 20th, and runs through the 21st followed by a day of Drupal Core sprinting on the 22nd. We’re excited to support the event and contribute content.
James Nettik talks about Responsive Images in Drupal this afternoon at 1:45 PM in room SCE 329 Cardinal. He will show you how to effectively use the HTML5 element in Drupal for responsive images, while maintaining the level of control and consistency both clients and designers expect. James will highlight basic syntax and useful Drupal modules, discuss browser support and walk through a variety of use cases.
Saturday Scott Reynen presents ways you can improve your own Drupal configuration right now in Rethinking Drupal Configuration at 1:45 PM in room SCE Ft. Dearborn B. Drupal 8 drastically improves the way Drupal manages configuration, but it won’t necessarily improve the way you work with configuration. Improving the configuration process requires rethinking the way we approach building Drupal sites, and in this session Scott will be your guide.
Come by the Aten booth if you’d like to talk to James and Scott about responsive images or Drupal configuration. They will be happy to talk, and happy to give you a sketchbook.
