Exhibit Hall

12:30 p.m. on the Exhibit Hall Ambitious Stage – 5 Minute Case Study: Stanford Summer Session
Great design that produces results does not happen in a vacuum. Last year, Aten launched Stanford Summer Session — https://summer.stanford.edu/ — and in this lightning talk, we'll touch on one element of the project that was informed by qualitative research with potential students. This small investment in user research led to a simple feature that drove a marked increase in applications to the program.

Builder Track

1:45 p.m. in Room 606 – Ignore the Naysayers: Your RFP Can Be Great!
Joe Crespo will tackle everybody's favorite topic: the infamous Request for Proposal. For years there’s been a lot of ink spilled about how the RFP process is broken, particularly when it comes to technology projects. This session isn’t going to litigate various viewpoints on that front, but since the RFP isn't going away anytime soon, let’s talk about how to improve yours!

Agency Track

1:30 p.m. in Room 4C3 – Happy Teams: Effective Onboarding is the Key to Retaining Good Talent
Sally Shaughnessy discusses the important process of onboarding new team members. Your new hire has signed the contract. Now what? You invested the time to screen the right candidates but all too often organizations botch the most critical part of engaging a new employee — a proper onboarding.

If we miss you at any of these great engagements, come say hi at booth #311. See you at DrupalCon!
