DrupalCon Los Angeles 2015

It’s that time again — time for the biggest Drupal event of the year. DrupalCon North America comes to Los Angeles next week. Our team will be joining the thousands of Drupal users, developers and designers at the Los Angeles Convention Center for the week long event. This is the seventh year in a row that Aten has sponsored DrupalCon, and we’re thrilled to support several other events during the week.

Higher Ed Summit

We’re sponsoring the Higher Education Summit again this year. The Summit runs all day, Monday the 11th. We will be there talking with Drupalers from universities, colleges and other educational institutions from around the country. The Summit is unfortunately sold out, but we’ll continue conversations started in the Summit through the rest of the conference.

Exhibit Hall and Sketchbooks

We are exhibiting at booth #313 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Come say hello, talk to our team and pick up a sketchbook. As always, we have a new sketchbook design inspired by the location. This year’s illustration blends LA’s modernist history and science fiction future.

Women in Drupal

Tuesday night, Women in Drupal meets at the historic Engine Company No. 28 from 6 PM to 8:30 PM. We’re proud to support the event again this year. This is a great way for women new to the Drupal Community to get connected to other influential women, like our own Digital Strategist Sandra Chung. Get a preview of the event and the women involved in this short group interview, and don’t forget to RSVP.

Flavors of SVGs

On Wednesday, Aten’s Lead Front-End Developer John Ferris presents The Flavors of SVG at 5 PM in the Petree C - Acquia room. John will show the opportunities SVGs — or Scalable Vector Graphics — present front-end developers to enhance the user experience, beyond their handy resolution independence. This session is packed with modern tools, practical examples, and inspiration for what else is possible using SVGs.

Bowling at the "Pre After Party"

Thursday night is late in the conference, but it’s not time to leave just yet. Aten is going bowling with our friends at Four Kitchens and Kalamuna, and you’re invited! Find Aten folks at our booth (#313) or any of these events during the week to get your own matchbook ticket to the “Pre After Party” at Lucky Strike. It's just a couple blocks down the street from the Convention Center. We’ll get started at 6 PM and we’ll bowl, eat and drink until 9 PM.
